Sam: A Shaggy Dog Story by Sally Cronin

Sally Cronin 5 April 2015Sally is a nutritional therapist, and a truly gifted person who has worked in a variety of professions, travelled around the world, and written several ‘how to’ books on various subjects ranging from health to micro-management. And it doesn’t stop there… but if I tell you anymore, that’ll spoil the interview I have lined up with her!

So, over to the review:

sam: a shaggy dog story

Synopsis: The true story of Sam, a rough collie, written from his perspective. A tribute to a true friend and a genuine family member. (Sally Cronin)

Review: Sally had done a wonderful job of letting Sam tell his own story in the form of a memoir which provides a fresh perspective through the eyes of a dog. Sam takes us on the journey of his life with all its twists and turns from his own limited, but genuine understanding of things. I rated Sam: A Shaggy Dog Story, five stars for its very well written prose and because the photos here and there break up the story very nicely providing a comfortable and seamless flow.  A truly delightful read for any dog lover.
